Opobo Foundation USA, Organizes Mini-Food Carnival, As They Give Out Pallatives

Opobo Foundation USA,  Organizes Mini-Food Carnival,  As They Give Out Pallatives.
It was a mini food-carnival as Opobo Foundation USA, gave food palliatives to all 67 War-Canoe houses, Security Agencies and Corpers in Opobo Kingdom.

Representatives of youths and women of the different War-Canoe houses expressed utmost satisfaction, as they said they were very pleased with the way the relief materials were shared. There was orderliness, and no one was short-changed in anyway.

One of the Women representatives from Okpukpo couldn't hold her joy as she kept saying words of prayers and praises to the donors, in her words " this is timely, and it was perfectly shared, we are happy and pray God to continue to bless the donors ".
President of the Opobo Foundation USA, Professor Iyalla Peterside while speaking to our correspondent over the phone said "this is the first phase of what we intend to do for our people, we will do more, God willing. Because we believe it’s the least thing we should do at this critical time to help cushion the hardship faced by our people back home as a result of the COVID-19.
Let me thank specially, members of the Foundation for donating generously towards the actualization of this intervention and all those who assisted in making it a huge success.
Items distributed includes 80 bags of rice, beans and garri each and these items were contracted to Opobo women based at Opobo to supply as a means to encourage their businesses too.
