Progressive Change Ambassador's (PCA), a political pressure group and a leading Non-Governmental Organization based in Port Harcourt today, Tuesday, 30th January, 2018, paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Chief Nnamdi Wokekoro's family, at his Port Harcourt residence in Rumukalagbor, Port Harcourt.
Speaking during the visit, the capacity president of the group, Mr. Ikechi Akpuh, hinted that the late Nnamdi Wokokero served meritoriously both as the Mayor of Port Harcourt city local Government, Chairman Rivers state Sanitation Authority, Chairman Local Government Service Commission among others, where he made significant and visible impact that is still speaking till date.
Mr. Akpuh, described Late Nnamdi as a man of the people, a worthy leader, a man of his word, and that his administrative and leadership foot-prints will be difficult to erase in the history of Rivers state, even as it is on record that the land where the Rivers State Union Of Local Government Employees (NULGE), is sited today was donated by him.
Responding to the group Mr. Amadi John Wokekoro, the son of Late Chief Nnamdi Wokekoro, thanked the group for their show of love and solidarity to the family in this time of great loss and grief and assured to keep the group informed on further plans and preparations for the funeral of their father.
