Hon. Myke Taribo has won the election as the Chairman TEPNG offshore communities Content Committee of Rivers and Akwa-Ibom states.
The election was conducted On the 17th of February 2020 at the community affairs department building of Total E&P Nigeria Limited.
On his acceptance speech he promised to serve his people with all humanity and total transparency and accountability in discharging his duties,
He added that all interest must be protected and promised to use God given resources to improve the quality of lives of the host communities by creating job opportunities and positive incentives.
Speaking with Journalists after the election he vowed to use his office as the Chairman TEPNG OFFSHORE COMMUNITIES CONTENT COMMITTEE RIVERS AND AKWA-IBOM STATES to maintain peace and harmony in the host communities in order to minimize criminality in our localities.
He ceased the opportunity to appreciate Almighty God for finding him worthy to serve as the Chairman and also thanked the Members of TEPNG Offshore communities content Committee for given him their support and voted for him to serve as the Chairman.
He extend his hand of fellowship to every aggrieved member, saying they should come together and work as a team to render quality services to their people.
