2010: Appointed Chairman, Anti-Bunkering Committee in Ogoni (Eleme, Tai, Gokana & Khana LGAs) by the Rivers State Government.

2010: Awarded Security Awareness Awards as the Most Outstanding Security Conscious LGA in Rivers State by the Rivers State Government.

2011: Executive Chairman, Eleme LGA. (Another 3 years)

2013: Awarded Most Outstanding Chairman in Nigeria by the House of Representative.

2014: Elected Deputy National Secretary of the All Progressive Congress, Nigeria (3 years).

2014: Appointed Care-taker Committee Chairman, Eleme LGA.
 
2015: Appointed Care-taker Committee Chairman, Eleme LGA. Bringing his total term as chairman to 8 years, with legacies the state still talk about till today.

2015: Chairman, Fact-Finding Panel to Delta State APC.

2017: Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Royal Kingdom of the Netherlands (3yrs).

2017: Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

2017: Permanent Representative of Nigeria to International Criminal Court (ICC).

2017: Permanent Representative of Nigeria to to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and other international organisations based in The Hague.

2017: Awarded Orange Magazine Foreign Liaison of the Year.

2018: Elected by the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention as Vice Chairperson of the Executive Council of the OPCW (2 years).

Duties include responsibility for overseeing the legal, organisational and other issues cluster of the OPCW Executive Council. Issues under this cluster include ensuring the full implementation of Article XI of the Chemical Weapons Convention, i.e. economic and technological development of the states parties, universality of the convention, national implementation measures, amongst others.

2019: Elected by the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention as Vice Chairperson of the Conference of the States Parties. (One year).

2019: Elected by the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention as Chairperson of the OPCW’s Open-Ended Working Group on Terrorism, which coordinates the organisations efforts to counter global chemical terrorism.

2019: Elected by the Group of African States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention as Coordinator of the Group.

2020: Coronated 'Emere-odala-eta-ebo 1' of Eleme.

2021: Secretary, APC, Digital Transformation Committee

2022: Candidate of the APC, Rivers Southeast Senatorial District.

2023: Incoming Senator, Rivers Southeast Senatorial District...
